UCFPD tweeted at 11:46 a.m. and said “UCF ALERT UPDATE: Around 10:45am UCFPD received a call about a white male holding what appeared to be a long gun near Milican Hall.”
Six minutes later, an alert was sent to students that said “*UCF ALERT* All clear at Millican Hall and Library. Resume normal campus operations.”
Helicopters were still sweeping the area around noon.
